Verti-Gro® is a unique company that specializes in vertical growing and vertical gardening to utilize space and energy in an efficient manner. Verti-Gro® uses hydroponics or "soilless" gardening and this basically means gardening without the dirt! Hydroponics is no longer limited to growing in water. Our system utilizes a "Soilless" growing media. Medias that support the plant include such products as perlite, coconut fiber, vermiculite, peat moss mixes and sometimes bark or lava rock. By eliminasting the dirt, we've eliminated many of the soil pathogens which originate in the dirt. We do not need weed killers, or soil imjections to grow strawberries. We'e eliminated the need for many chemicals used when crops are grown in the dirt. And the greatest benefit is flavor!
