Conventional agriculture tries to fix a symptom rather than solve the problem. When in reality, the problem is the soil! The overuse of chemicals has destroyed the health of the soil by destroying the living organisms which is present in wild crops around the world. We can usually remediate poisoned soil within the first year of using our products. Soil remediation is essential for soil health and healthy, vibrant plants. Which in turn gives the grower – and especially those raising livestock, the best of all worlds. Higher crop yields, potentially higher crop prices because of higher test weight, animals with improved weight gain and needing significantly less veterinary care and higher consumer demand.
To many farmers, a bio-dynamic approach may seem foreign! But in reality the inputs we incorporate are not that different from what you’re using now, but from a natural, rather than chemical resource. The benefit is a soil rich in essential microbes resulting in microbially active, and stable source of nitrogen, and phosphorous with natural pathogen suppression. This improves soil tilth, and a much reduced need for large amounts of nitrogen, and phosphorous.
Our apporach creates a symbiotic relationship between the soil and the plant, working in natural harmony to fix "free" nitrogen from the atmosphere. This system also "Unlocks" bound-up phosphorous already present in the soil which will eventually make the use of chemical controls unnecessary.
Proper soil analysis is key to giving the soil exactly what it needs. Most soil test only look at what nutrients are "present" in the soil, rather than testing for what nutrients are "available" in the soil for plant uptake. The difference is like night and day. You may already have enough nitrogen in the soil, but, is it "available" for the plant to use? Our analysis will include what's in the soil, and what's available to the plant. This alone can save you thousands of dollars in fertilizer cost each and every year.
Our goal is to grow crops which are high in brix, and nutrient rich, which make for healthier foodstocks. As the nutrient density goes up so does the specific test weight, the feed value and the taste.
