BioNatural Product Application

 

The BioNatural Product line consists of six OMRI™ and  Global Organic Alliance listed products. All six products meet the criteria of USDA’s NOP program for Organic production. NutriTech, Bioplin, Nutrifoliar,TABA, B-Seepel and Speed Kompost. The dormant cyst form bacteria in Bioplin, Nutrifoliar and Nutritech are in a liquid suspension and have a shelf life of 5 years with a 2 year guarantee. As a Bio-Fertilizer, BioNatural products lead the field in concentration with up to 10 billion microbes per gram, with a guarantee of 1 billion microbes per gram. There is not just one vigorous strain of microbes in BioNatural Products, but dozens of them, and they are the hardiest and most versatile, selected from the 126 strains developed by the research team over a 40+ year period.

 

A shortage of necessary carbohydrate energy in marginal soils causes problems with most nitrogen-fixing products. Strain selection is the key to Bioplin’s capacity to fix nitrogen in marginal soils, even in the absence of adequate organic carbon. Azotobacter, like all microorganisms, needs carbon based carbohydrates (sugars). Azotobacter’s nitrogen-fixing capacity is linked to the availability of simple sugars. Typically Azotobacter needs the energy of 1 gram of sugar to fix 5 to 20 mg of nitrogen. The species in Bioplin are guaranteed to produce an average of 11 mg of nitrogen per gram of sugar in marginal soils.

 

Starter Application Program

 

Bioplin and Nutritech:

 

Row Crops - Application should be on or near the seed at 250 ml/A (for soils less than 2% organic matter) or 125 ml/A (for soils of 2+% organic matter). Mix with 50 gallons water to help move the microbes into the root zone. If applied at transplant mix molasses to establish the microbe colony in the rizosphere. For greenhouses the 125ml/A is suffficient for each application. You could apply this starter program over an established row crop at 4 – 8” in 50 gallons of water (to get the spores down into the root zone) on high value and/or field crops. Studies have found that in-row application works great. 

 

Fruiting Trees - Use the 250ml/A application rate mixed with 50 g water/A. For mature fruiting trees it is best not to apply the lower application rates as with row crop or greenhouse foliage. Mix Bioplin and Nutritech pre-bloom as a drench and again 30 days later for the growing season. For younger trees it is recommended that molasses be added to the first application to improve the growth of the microbial colony.

 

NutriFoliar:

 

Row Crop - For row crop, the first two applications of NutriFoliar we recommend 250ml/acre with 20 to 50 gallons of water for thorough coverage of foliage. As the crops mature use the 50g/A application rate for thorough coverage.  Reduce to 125 ml/A for third and subsequent foliar sprays using the same amount of water for full coverage. To improve the N fixing abilities of NutriFoliar we recommend that the first two applications include Taba Liquid. Subsequent applications can be in rotation between NutriFoliar and Taba Liquid.

 

Fruiting Trees - For mature fruiting trees studies have shown for best results use the 250ml/A application rate using 50g/A water for thorough coverage. The first application should be pre-bloom followed at 15 days using Taba Liquid. The second application should be in rotation NutriFoliar then Taba Liquid. 

TABA-G/TABA Liquid

 

Taba Liquid - The appplication rates for Taba Liquid are the same as NutriFoliar above. Taba Liquid is taken up by the leaves quicker tham NutriFoliar and feeds the plants almost immediately. In fruiting trees, Taba should be applied just prior to bloom and in rotation with Nutrifoliar with every other application. Liquid Taba has shown to be an incredible insect deterrant when used throughout the growing season. 

 

Taba-G - is a granular product to be applied in the crop row, or under the canopy of fruiting trees. Taba-G should be watered in after application.

 

NOTE: For optimal performance. Row Crops - NutriTech and Bioplin should be applied early morning or late afternoon using the same application rates from above. NutriFoliar and Taba should be applied in the late afternoon when rain is not forcast.
